On Announcing an Open Competition for Academic Positions at the Faculty of Medicine of Unilevel University LLC
Pursuant to Paragraph 2 of Article 32, Article 34, and Paragraphs 1-5 of Article 35 of the Law of Georgia “On Higher Education”; Paragraph 10 of the Charter of Unilevel University LLC; the “Regulations of Unilevel University LLC”; the “Rules for the Selection, Workload, and Remuneration of Affiliated Academic Personnel of Unilevel University LLC”; and the Official Memo № 002-008 of the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine,
I hereby Order:
-
An open competition be announced on May 25, 2026, for filling academic positions within the Georgian-language educational program for Medical Doctors at the Faculty of Medicine of Unilevel University LLC (hereinafter – the University), for 13 (thirteen) staff units, in accordance with the following data:
A) Basic Medical Disciplines: Professor – 1 (one) staff unit, Associate Professor – 1 (one) staff unit, Assistant Professor – 1 (one) staff unit.

Directions: Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Histology/Embryology, Molecular Biology, Medical Physics/Biophysics.
B) Pre-clinical Disciplines: Professor – 1 (one) staff unit, Associate Professor – 1 (one) staff unit, Assistant Professor – 1 (one) staff unit.

Directions: Pathology, Pharmacology, Microbiology, Immunology, Clinical Skills.
C) Clinical Disciplines:

C.a) Professor – 1 (one) staff unit

Directions: Internal Diseases, Surgery (General Surgery), Maternal and Child Health (Pediatrics / Obstetrics-Gynecology).

C.b) Associate Professor – 1 (one) staff unit, Assistant Professor – 3 (three) staff units, Assistant – 2 (two) staff units.

Directions: Internal Medicine, Surgery, Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Neurology, Psychiatry, Cardiology, Anesthesiology and Intensive Care, Family Medicine, Infectious Diseases, Dermatology, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Ophthalmology, Otorhinolaryngology, Traumatology and Orthopedics, Urology, Oncology, Emergency Medicine, Radiology.

The documentation to be submitted electronically by candidates for participation in the competition shall be determined as follows:

Personal Application (Annex №1 of the Order);

Copy of the identity document;
-
CV (Curriculum Vitae), specifying the list of published scientific works;
-
Copy of the document certifying the relevant academic degree;
-
Specialty Certificate (in the case of clinical disciplines);
-
Certificates issued by the Service Agency of the LEPL – Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia “On conviction for crimes committed against sexual freedom and inviolability” and “On the deprivation of rights”;

Document certifying English language proficiency (if available);
-
One scientific work which, in the opinion of the candidate, best demonstrates their research skills.

Evaluation of the personal data of the candidates participating in the competition shall be conducted by the Competition Commission established by the Order of the Rector of the University. The following main criteria shall be taken into account when making a decision:
A) Professor
-
A person holding a Doctor’s or equivalent academic degree who possesses:
-
At least 6 (six) years of scientific-pedagogical working experience;
-
In the case of clinical disciplines – an additional specialty certificate and at least the last 9 (nine) years of clinical experience;
-
Number and quality of scientific publications (particularly during the last 5 years).
B) Associate Professor
-
Doctor’s or equivalent academic degree;
-
At least 3 (three) years of scientific-pedagogical working experience;
-
In the case of clinical disciplines – an additional specialty certificate and at least the last 5 (five) years of clinical experience;
-
Number and quality of scientific publications (particularly during the last 5 years).
C) Assistant Professor
-
Doctor’s or equivalent academic degree;
-
In the case of clinical disciplines – an additional specialty certificate and at least the last 3 (three) years of clinical experience;
-
Number and quality of scientific publications (particularly during the last 5 years).
D) Assistant
-
A doctoral student (PhD candidate) of the doctoral program in the relevant direction.
Additional Requirements: Proficiency in the English language (B2 level) shall be considered a priority.

The competition must comply with the principles of transparency, equality, and fair competition.

The competition announcement shall be published on the official website of the University (www.unilevel.ge) and on www.jobs.ge.

Applications for the competition shall be accepted from June 26, 2026, through June 30, 2026, inclusive, at the following electronic addresses: info@unilevel.ge, hr@unilevel.ge.

Stages of the Competition:
-
Stage I: Initial evaluation of candidates’ documentation by the Competition Commission – July 1-2, 2026;
-
Stage II: Interviews with candidates shortlisted based on documentation – July 3-6, 2026;
-
Stage III: Demonstration lecture-presentation – July 7–10, 2026;
-
Stage IV: Adoption of the initial decision – July 13-14, 2026;
-
Stage V: Appeal period – July 15-16, 2026;
-
Stage VI: Review of appeals – July 17, 2026;
-
Stage VII: Adoption of the final decision – July 20, 2026.

The results of the competition shall be announced on July 21, 2026, on the official website of the University (www.unilevel.ge).

The competition documents submitted by the candidates shall be processed in compliance with the rules provided by the Law of Georgia “On Personal Data Protection”, solely for the purposes arising from this Order.

The Public Relations Department of the University shall be instructed to place this Order and the competition announcement on the official website of the University.

The Human Resources Management Department of the University shall be instructed to place the competition announcement on the website www.jobs.ge.
-
This Order shall enter into force immediately upon signature.
-
This Order may be appealed within one month from its issuance at the Tbilisi City Court (Address: №64 David Aghmashenebeli Alley, Tbilisi).
